Okay so i went to the dentist and they found my first cavity on my front teeth, and they drilled it really thin. So now every time I drink anything, it it touches them it hurts extremely bad! This has been going on since late march and I’m sick of it. Iv used act and it doesn’t really do anything and i use sensitive toothpaste every day. I’m not sure what else to do. Can i get some ideas?

Does anyone know what to do about bad breath?

I feel like I have bad breath. My husband says that I’m imagining it, but I notice that about an hour after brushing my teeth I feel like I have bad breath and my mouth tastes bad. I’ve had my dental check up and have no cavities, and I’ve tried every kind of toothpaste and mouthwash that I can think of. I’m starting to be really selfconcious about it!

I already use sensodine toothpaste and avoid really cold or hot foods. What can I do to get rid of the pain I’m having from just breathing air or drinking room temperature water?
I do brush and floss every day.

Its been at least a week since ive been using this toothpaste and the pain is going away a little. I want to know when will the pain really go???
Im sensative to cold

Lately I have been going over my teeth with a dry toothbrush first (it removes plaque better), then brushing again with toothpaste. But it seems that my gums have been receding! Can this be caused by the dry toothbrush (maybe water usually softens the brush)?

I really need whiter teeth and I am not allowed to use white strips. What toothpaste is the best for teeth whitening? And how many times a day should I brush? I already do at least 2. Should i try to do 3 or 4?

Are my gums receding?

I’m seeing my dentist in a few days but I’m still concerned.. I got an on-lay on a few bottom teeth over a year ago, but ever since my molar was re-done, along the gumline on the outside of my tooth has been EXCEPTIONALLY sensitive. Initially my dentist said it wasn’t decay and just to use the rx sensitivity toothpaste….it hasn’t worked, and it’s still quite sensitive to all temperatures, and even if i press it lightly with my finger. The other molar on the left side now is getting the same thing….

Does this mean I’ll need a graft? Or are there other ways of curving the sensitivity?

Thanks.
Hey doc, I use the Colgate sensitive toothpaste that you can only get in the doctor’s office. (white and pink bottle) They also had made me a little mold of my teeth to use the tray to decrease sensitivity. it wasnt a permanent solution- i did do it for 2 weeks everyday for a half hour.

I have an electric brush and i use it on the soft setting.

The sensitivity has gotten worse over the past year so I’m just curious if it’s actually receding gums or some mystery problem..

I’m serious. It’s bad! If he’s sitting on the sofa you can smell it on the other side of the room. I can’t ride in the car with him anymore, and when he talks his breath hurts my nose. Where can I get him some prescription gum, toothpaste, and/or mouthwash?

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! My nose feels like it’s about to start bleeding!!
Gum doesn’t work! He will NOT go to the dentist, he hasn’t seen a PCP in years!

I just got my braces off last week and since then my teeth have been super sensitive. I can’t enjoy popsicles or cold drinks like I used to. Is there a good toothpaste to reduce my sensitivity??

I have sensitive teeth and therefore can only use a toothpaste specifically for sensitivity, however, all the toothpastes I’ve tried (sensodyne, colgate for sensitive teeth, etc) leave redness around my lips after I brush my teeth – even though it goes away in several minutes, it leaves a burning sensation and sort of bleaches my skin, so I’m assuming I’m allergic to this type of toothpaste. I don’t get any reaction when using a regular toothpaste, but then I don’t get the benefits tootpaste for sensitive teeth provides. I’m not sure what to do and would appreciate some advice.

we don’t wanna pay the crazy price for dog toothpaste. and he would just swallow mints.

I have tiny white spots on my teeth on the very top of the top ones, and very bottom of the bottom ones… the dentist has given me a tooth paste to use, as she has claimed this is tooth decay beginning but has said if I care for them well for the next six months, and use this toothpaste it is reversible. Does this mean the spots will return back to tooth color? Is that what happens when you remineralise the tooth?

I heard cq10 was great for this issue. Also what is the best toothpaste and mouthwash to use?

Every time I gargle with warm water or eat something cold I feel sensitive pain around my teeth.I don’t have Sensordyne toothpaste in reach right now,but I would like to try a home remedy for now until I get Sensordyne toothpaste.

How can I get rid of bad breath?

Hi, i suffer from bad breath, i am not sure if it is connected to a lack of sleep, i barely get any, or quite what. I have found that after eating weetabix, of which i have 6 a day, my breath goes bad and i only shortly after brush my teeth. I use toothpaste and moutwash but It simply won’t go away. Any help would be appreciated and could you anwer whether or not bad breath and being sleep-deprived is linked?

we were given this dog (a daschound) on easter, already grown up. we found out that his trouble with crunchy dog food is that he has some gum disease. i don’t know much about treating this condition in dogs and would like to know if i can brush his teeth with human toothpaste until i can buy some special for him.

What is the best teeth whitening toothpaste?

I have somewhat white teeth but they could be better. I want to know what is the best toothpaste that makes your teeth whiter. What I am using now doesn’t do much for me. It is " Crest Whitening Expressions". I have been using it for months now and nothing has changed. I brush my teeth twice a day and still, nothing.

So what is the best toothpaste for whitening teeth. Also is there anything else I can do to make them whiter. Use mouthwash or what?

Thanks.

I have tried everything. My dentist doesn’t help either. Recommends sensitive toothpaste which doesn’t work. I also tried a sealing treatment at his office and it didn’t work. I have 4 teeth and I am in pain almost every day.

I use them once in a while, not every day like it says because my teeth hurt a lot after. I use sensitive toothpaste after I use them, but that does not work. What can I do?

Bad Breath?

I have a friend who has been complaining aobut his breath lately. He says that he brushes his teeth really good and scrubs his tongue with a wash cloth and it helps for a while but the bad breath comes back. He has used almost every toothpaste & mouthwash that is designed to fight bad breath but still no luck. Can anybody help

I went to the dentist for this one tooth–he said it was fine but had a receding gumline–I’ve been using sensitive toothpaste like he said–altho I used it before that for about 3 years–it’s alittle better but still can’t have anything touch it or chew on it? Has anyone ever had this and know if it ever goes away? It doesn’t ache if I leave it alone lol! Thx!

what is the best way to cure gum disease?

My friend would like to know how can she cure gum disease. Will salt and warm water be better than using salt mixed with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide? Which is the best solution? And she would like to know what 50/50 is when to mix the solutions. And she heard the Crest Pro Health toothpaste and Crest Pro Health mouthwash is better than other toothpastes and mouthwashes and as long as she flosses as well. She wants advice from a real professional who knows about this type of situation. Thank you.

How do you cure bad breath for dogs?

My dog has terribly bad breath! Phew! And we tried dog toothpaste, but it just makes her breath worse, because it’s poultry flavored! EWW YUCK! How do we cure her bad breath? Please HElP!

Every time I drink/eat either hot or cold foods a tooth on the left upper side of my mouth HURTS! I’ve tried several products for sensitve teeth to no avail. I have to get everything just the perfect temp of high lukewarm. If it’s sensitive teeth is there something more strong than Sensydene toothpaste? That stuff works very little on me! If it is an exposed root how is that handled without pulling the tooth?

Can anyone recomend me some toothpaste i can use to ease the pain of braces and the teeth? And what is Sensodyne toothpaste?
