Im going to china to visit relatives i havent seen in a long long time, and was wondering whether i should just get an immediate tooth implant while im there because its so much cheaper
it costs like 00 here and about 00 over there, so its quite a massive saving to get it done there while im on holiday,

I need a tooth implant for one of my front teeth, and my dentist told me it would cost k total (implant, crown and care). This sounds absurd to me. Anyone know of what the total cost is for a single implant, in general (total cost, meaning implant, crown and care)? I feel like I am getting ripped off, and my insurance will not cover any of it.

I heard somewhere that I could get a tooth implant at some dentistry schools. It would be nice to get it done here than pay a few thousand dollars. Has anyone got this or any other dental operations done by a student at a school? I know I can just call a school and ask about that, but anyone who as actually gone through with this please answer.

I just got back from the dentist where I got my first tooth implant. I am not really happy, the preliminary tooth looks fine but I’m concerned about that very detailed I can see the pre-formed post shining through my gum. To me it looks like I have a brown ring under my gum. Everybody tells me that this will go away and it looks like this right now because it was done 2 hours ago. The gum will rebuild and then everything will look fine. I’m really desperate!

Let me know what your experience is with having a tooth extracted. Mine is way loose, I bit on chicken bone/cartlidge. Did anyone get a tooth implant and how much did it cost you b/c my insurance doesn’t cover it. Thanks for responding.

I want to have a tooth taken out without a root canal or crown and I was wondering if a tooth implant is necessary or can I just have one less tooth and it will be okay as far as chewing the overall health of my other teeth.

I’m getting a tooth implant soon, I have to have a screw put into my gums and i’m worried about how much pain it will cause.

People have said it’s a "quick procedure" (35 minutes) but even when I had a full Novocaine block for my last cavity it still hurt.

Do they happen to include headaches, pains near the frontal lobe, sore eyes, cronic headaches, chills?
This is a titanium tooth implant with some zirconium.
Also just to clarify these symptoms appeared the same day after my implants were done and the anesthetics wore off

I had a tooth implant on the bottom left side two weeks ago. My gums are pink but swollen at that site. Also, I still have pain although not too bad. Is this normal after 2 weeks? What symptoms would I have if the implant has failed? I haven’t been feeling well the past few days. No fever but just a general sick feeling. I am concerned that it may be related to the implant although it could just be a "bug". I’ll be seeing my dentist tomorrow but would appreciate answers to my question just the same. Thanks!

About three years ago, I had a surgery to remove a cyst from my lower right jaw. They had to take out one of my teeth to get to the cyst. I want to get an implant where that tooth was before. How old must one be to get a tooth implant?

my lateral incisor in upper jaw has its root totally resorbed. it is just stuck to the gums now. i had braces 5 yrs back for 2 years n have retainers right now. i m 20 yr old. my dentist says the only option i have now is tooth implant. is it safe? please tell me something about it. was anything wrong with the orthodontic treatment that my root got resorbed?

i got a tooth implant about a year ago and today after i ate the gum where the screw is was hurting is that normal? or is it cuzz my teeth r moving or somthing? i have a night gaurd to wear at night but i havent for the past couple months does that have to do with somthing?

My husband is needing a tooth implant. (I believe it’s called a prosphetic root). It’s were they insert a permanent post that will eventually hold a tooth/crown.
