On saturday i went to a party. Before the party i showered, brushed my teeth, and used mouthwash, but i still had people tell me i had bad breath! Any suggestions?

I had a total of six back teeth extracted starting in 2003 and ending in 2005.Three of them are on the top and three of them are on the bottom.For the last five years that area of my mouth has been hurting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.I have not been able to lead a comfortable life.What can be done to get rid of this never ending pain?Please help me.Thanks.

Is it illegal to ask the dentist to "whiten" your teeth?

On Saturday, I brushed my teeth in the morning before going out. Everytime I brush my teeth, my gums briefly bleed profusely, then stop after a few minutes. During the outing, I open-mouth kissed a guy. Now, I can’t stop thinking I have HIV. Is this likely? Should I get tested? I feel like I lost weight this morning and have a sore in my mouth that wasn’t there yesterday, too.

I would like someone to give very detailed instructions on how I can treat bad breath. I don’t need stupid answers like "brush your teeth". I do brush my teeth. I need more details please. Thank you.

I bleed often when I brush and my gums seem a little red and inflamed. Will a 50/50 mix of 3% hydrogen peroxide and water help to reduce the inflammation and stop my gum bleeding? My teeth are also pretty sensitive to air or wind, and extreme temperatures (hot, cold).

I am overdue for a dental check-up and professional clean and I am embarrassed about the ghastly dark stains on my teeth from all the tea and coffee I drink. Dentists are who I normally go to for a check-up but because the stains are so bad I need whitening so people don’t cringe when I smile. Not sure whether to go to a tooth whitener or dentist. They say the teeth whitener people are professional hygenists and also clean teeth.

Mostly have pain after I have eaten or when I’m laying down but occasionally some throbbing when doing neither of these things. The gums around my other teeth are swollen too…is this normal? I am on antibiotics for an infection I developed day two after surgery.

I once read that like one in 20 people don’t brush their teeth properly and have gum disease. Im just wondering how many people suffer from gum disease in the world what are the statistics?

I always have a problem with bad breath. And I always keep my teeth brushed, and I pay lots of attention to my tongue(i scrub it too). And I still feel like i have bad breath, even after I brush. My boyfriend doesn’t complain about it being bad or anything, but it just bothers me. Anybody have a suggestion?

iam 44 years old and i went to a new dentist and he told me i have perio infection and he put on a treatment which i can only buy the med. from his office. the treatment he wants to give me is long and expensive. i looked on the net for the gum infection i have, and my gum are not sore, blistered and do not bleed when i brush my teeth. my gum are not like the ones pictured in these photos. please help i cant afford to go to a new dentist for advice. the dentist who i used to go to died and when i saw him last year. he never said that i had gum infection

I always hear that tobacco smokers have a greater risk of developing many different dental and mouth problems. I realize that smoking stains the teeth brownish yellow and causes bad breath(besides causing many serious diseases), but how exactly does it lead to tooth problems like causing cavities and gum disease? Please note, I am a non-smoker, but some people in my family smoke. Does the same go for marijuana smokers, or only tobacco smokers?

Then I use Listerine mouth wash for 30 seconds, then I put Listerine strips in my mouth. About 5 minutes later, my bad breath comes back, how can I keep my breath from smelling bad.

Hey, i brush my teeth and floss and eat mints and stuff, but im just wondering if there is anyway you can actually tell if you have bad breath. ive heard of a thing you can buy that will tell you, but im wondering if there is a way of telling if you do without having to buy anything expensive.

I’ve had my braces for almost a year now and at the time I got them on, one of my teeth wasn’t down far enough to have a bracket placed on it. Now that tooth is down far enough, and they put the bracket on today. How long should I be in pain/discomfort?

If I bleached my teeth or used any whitening products, I think they’d change the color of my actual teeth, but would they change the color of my implanted tooth? I don’t think they would. And if I can’t use those products, what is the best way to get a whiter smile?

I cant afford the expensive procedure for my teeth at the dentist so Im looking for alternatives. Teeth whitening toothpastes havent helped so I want to try one of the products from the store to save a little money. Which ones are the best (even if they are on the more expensive side)? okay so today i saw my dad’s teeth while he was brushing his teeth so i waa\s wondering is anything wrong because i always see him picking it with a toothpick. so i went up to him and ask whats wrong and he said nuthing and i just saw a glance that is teeth are turning black staring from the bottom of the teeth and seem to be spreading. i wanted to check his gum also but he woulnd’t let me.(check is it turning black) and i think he has gum disease i relly want to help him but my dad is really stubborn he dont want to pay to go to the dentist so he can save for me and 4 of my other sibling for school. i feel really bad because he always do whats best for us and never really care about himself. how can i help him fight its gum disease? and he also smoke. please help.

my friend doesn’t have very good gums. she called me and told me she just ate, then went to brush her teeth and saw a ‘bubble’ on her gum, just right under her tooth…. is it gum disease and can it be treated without going to the dentist?

I always have terrible breath for some reason. I can taste it in my mouth. Especially in the mornings. I clean my teeth 3 times a day, but this bad taste keeps coming back. I eat well too. I have no idea what it’s from/ how to stop it.
