Something wrong with my teeth?

I have something wrong with one of my teeth. I have a small gap in my enamel at the top of one of my upper back teeth, At first I thought it was just the receding gumline, but after poking at it with my tongue for a while its become sensitive to touch and brushing. It is not brown (as far as I can tell),so I’m not sure if its a cavity. and exposed nerve tissue, or root rot. Does anyone have any idea what this may be? And if there’s anything I can do? I can currently brushing with sensodine pronamel and chewing trident gum.

Braces and receding gums?

I have had my braces for about a year now. Of course, when I first got them there was the usual pain and whatever. But just recently I have seen a recession in the gumline on some of my teeth. I am only 16 years old and I don’t want gum recession. There was always this tooth that was a bit lower than the others, but now it has gotten worse along with the tooth beside it. The dental hygeinest told me that they can’t grow back. Why? I’ve seen this formula called Dr. Tung’s Gum Rejuv on various places on the ‘net and wondering could it be a possible cure. I’m growing and am still young in healthy shape. There has to be something that can rejuvenate them and at least help to grow back. By the way, I practice good oral hygiene such as brushing and flossing. I don’t know if its the pressure of the braces or what but I need an answer. Never had this problem before the braces and elastics. People, just get me some answers of what could help or be wrong before I go back to the dentist.
Are there any natural cures for this? As for flossing, I have been doing so reguraly off and on, but why would the gumline on certain teeth start to recede just now and not before I got my braces or right after I got them? I have heard of cases where the gum tissue is thin by heredics.
I also forgot to add that there is a gap being made between the bottom center tooth and th one next to it by the elastics. I have elastics that are supposed to be pulling my jaw back so I have 2 oppsing forces there. Could gum loss be result of bone loss as the teeth are moved? Is that normal for orthodontics?

i had a accident, resulting in the loss of my upper teeth;excluding the two center teeth.can i have one implant inserted next to each of my 2 good middle teeth, than another implant further back 4-5 positions, and have a bridgework made to fill the gap? or must i have individual implants for each tooth position… that is toothless ? i am 53 with healthy bone, etc. thank you !

Hello i am in need of teeth whitening and i really need to know if any strips can help me because i have a gap. My two front teeth has a opening between them! HELP!

My sister lost a tooth in a car accident and she had a tooth implanted. Theres a gap that she has between a tooth and the implanted one that she is really unsatisfied with. Can she get braces on the implant to closd her gap??

I have the biggest ugliest gap right in between my front two teeth! I just had an oral surgery yesterday and I thought my dentist would be able to fix it then but he wants to put braces on my teeth first and then surgically remove them so my implants will fit correctly. So my question is will braces hurt more if I have a big gap or is it pretty much the same feeling? And do you like your braces or not? And how long did it take for you to adjust to them?

I am missing one tooth. It just never grew out. I had braces and now I am wearing a retainer which is keeping that gap open. I am ready for an implant.

is there anyway to replace a tooth without implants?

like, cant the dentist just put a fake tooth to fill the gap?

I have got a gum disease called periodontal disease and my teeth feel weak because of this, i have to get a deep clean (Scaling). This will leave a gap where the calculus have been removed and will leave my teeth quite loose. Will the gap close up and will my teeth strengthen? If not, how can I strengthen them?

It scares me as I can’t even bite through anything with my front teeth unless the food is really soft, like bread for instance.

After getting one wisdom tooth extracted, the gum line on the outside of my last molar near the extraction seems spaced, if that makes sense. Looking at it, it is red and when I feel it with my tongue, there is definitely a bit of a gap between gum and tooth. Is this normal for after a wisdom tooth extraction? Should it get better soon? Thanks in advance.
A bit of a correction, the redness and gap is at the gum spot between the second and third molar.

Are tooth implants better then bridges?

I have to have an extraction. The tooth is fairly close to the front of my mouth. I don’t want to have a gap. Is an implant better then a bridge?

fix a receding gumline?

I have a gumline that has receded in the bottom back of my mouth in the very back. One large tooth was extracted 10 years ago and recession took place in the gap by the next tooth. I go to a University dental clinic and they say there is nothing that can be done at this point . I will probably get a second opinion.. The recession has exposed some of the lower portion (below the nerve line) of the next tooth and causes pain with hot/cold senstaion. Can some sort of amalgam be used to cover the lower portion of this next tooth to prevent sensations? Any advice will be helpfull.Thanks.
