Okay so i went to the dentist and they found my first cavity on my front teeth, and they drilled it really thin. So now every time I drink anything, it it touches them it hurts extremely bad! This has been going on since late march and I’m sick of it. Iv used act and it doesn’t really do anything and i use sensitive toothpaste every day. I’m not sure what else to do. Can i get some ideas?

Gum Disease?

I can feel a couple of my bottom front teeth slightly loose (can barely tell unless im really looking) with some gum seperation…i can not afford a dentist for another 6 months..i have been using listerine and the new crest toothpaste along with flossing and electric toothbrush…will my gums get better on their own? is there more i can do besides this?? im not in any pain..just concerned…never even had a cavity!!
sorry…my gums do not hurt, i can feel them and no..they do not bleed..

I need a tooth implant for one of my front teeth, and my dentist told me it would cost k total (implant, crown and care). This sounds absurd to me. Anyone know of what the total cost is for a single implant, in general (total cost, meaning implant, crown and care)? I feel like I am getting ripped off, and my insurance will not cover any of it.

Receding gums on the bottom teeth?

My gums are receding especially on my bottom front teeth, on the back side and front a little bit. If this gets any worse what is the best bet for me? Gum grafts?

The veneers were done 2.5 month ago and covered 6 upper and 6 lower front teeth. The whole procedure was extremely unpleasant, most of my teeth were shaved off (dentist said it had to be done because I had too many fillings), and I’ve had a lot of pain and sensitivity to air, cold and hot ever since. It’s gotten little better but I am still not able to bite into anything hard or even a fruit without pain or discomfort. I wonder if my teeth were permanently damaged.

I need some advice instead of the sit back there’s nothing you can do.

My child doesn’t drink milk, he doesn’t eat alot, and he luvs juice. Brushes teeth once a day and he is 2.

Now based on that above just throw out all your advice to stop his four top front teeth from decaying. Please help.

What do i do if a permanent tooth falls out?

The gumline on my front teeth is receding despite me brushing twice a day with antibacterial mouthwash. The gum has dropped low across a tooth that i worry will fall out in the near future due to this. I don’t have a dentist at the moment because A. I can’t afford dental care B. i hate going to dentists… What do I do if this tooth falls out?

I have had sinus issues for awhile which i inherited from my father so it’s chronic and sometimes it affects my teeth and brings pain. a week ago my upper molars on my right side were hurting bad and were getting numb as well and now their totally fine but now i have sensitivity in my upper front teeth and it is slightly painful and sensitive. could this be the same sinus issue or does it usually not affect the front teeth?

teeth pain after intense work out?

does anybody know why sometimes I get front teeth pain after an intense work out?

My front teeth are capped and no matter how many times I brush them a day, they cause horrible bad breath. Is there any way I can change that?

I went to the dentist for a checkup recently and he noticed white marks on some of my teeth. He told me that it was an early sign of tooth decay. He told me to brush alot and that i might need fillings. I dont drink fizzy drinks or water, just milk and fruit juice. I really dont want fillings in my front teeth, as my teeth are always complimented and i think it would ruin them!
is there any way i can stop the teeth, or at least some of them from decaying further? please help!

Hi,

Yesterday I had a lollypop, one of those sour ones with bubblegum in the middle. Since then, my 2 front teeth are really sensitive and it sucks. I have to go to the dentist in 2 days and I really hate it when she has to work on my mouth. I can tell you that I’m not a frequent teethbrusher, I often forget or I am too lazy, now does this mean she has to work on my teeth or will she just prescribe something?

What can be causing lower teeth pain?

About four days ago I woke up with pain across my bottom front teeth. It feels like pressure pain, like the kind you can get on the upper teeth when you have a sinus infection. I have no idea what’s causing it, there is no swelling or redness of the gums, and it’s my teeth, not the gums, that hurt. The pain is not getting worse or better. It’s not sensetive to heat, cold or sweets. Just hurts really bad. Thanks for any ideas!

Pain in bottom front teeth what could it be?

I have been having pain in my bottom front teeth for about a month or two now. I thought it might be from my wisdom teeth pushing my other teeth. So I had a consultation with the oral surgeon and when I asked him about the pain i’ve been having in my bottom front teeth he said it was unlikely that it was from my wisdom teeth and that i should consult my dentist. I made an appt but that isn’t until august 6th.

If it isn’t my wisdom teeth what else could be causing this pain in my bottom front teeth?

We had a fairly casual oral hygeine routine for my 22-month old until recently we noticed bad breath and more plaque buildup (we assumed it was due to changing diet). After beginning a more aggressive brushing routine, we noticed the top half of his upper front teeth have moderate decay. (The rest of his teeth are spotless :( ) Our dental insurance kicks in in two weeks, and I have two questions: given that we are now taking scrupulous care of his teeth, will it advance quickly enough that we should run him to a dentist RIGHT NOW and deal with the debt, or will it hold steady? And two, can I cause more damage to his teeth through incautious cleaning until they are repaired? Please, I’m begging anyone with dental training to help me.
We don’t smoke. He doesn’t drink soda and eat candy, or sleep with a bottle of chocolate milk. We just did a bad job cleaning that area, and a worse job checking on it. It got dirty, stayed dirty, and rotted.
I also forgot to mention that he does not seem to be in pain, or we would not consider waiting so long…

How to prevent receding gums?

Hi, I’m only 23 years old and I noticed that the gums on my lower front teeth are receding. Is there a way I could prevent this from occuring? Would flossing twice a day leave spaces in between my teeth?

I have got a gum disease called periodontal disease and my teeth feel weak because of this, i have to get a deep clean (Scaling). This will leave a gap where the calculus have been removed and will leave my teeth quite loose. Will the gap close up and will my teeth strengthen? If not, how can I strengthen them?

It scares me as I can’t even bite through anything with my front teeth unless the food is really soft, like bread for instance.

At what age can i get tooth implants?

I am missing the 2 teeth on either side of my front teeth and currently have temporary dentures on a retainer. I want to get the more permanant solution of teeth implants. I have been told that i’ll have to wait until i stop growing to recieve them but is there any way of telling when that will be?

Sweet and cold gives pain inside my teeth?

Whenever I eat sweet foods, I feel pain inside my molars. A few of my front teeth hurt too. Cold food/drinks hurts my teeth too – it also hurts the back of my mouth. I brush my teeth once a day.

Can someone explain my mysterious teeth pain?

My teeth are extremely sensitive and no one can explain it. Sometimes it is my front teeth, sometimes it is my back, and when I eat something hot it is all of them. My teeth just feel inflamed. My dentist thought TN, but my neurologist does not (I have MS and had an MRI). Does anyone have anything like this or could they provide any sort of explanation? thanks!
