Okay so i went to the dentist and they found my first cavity on my front teeth, and they drilled it really thin. So now every time I drink anything, it it touches them it hurts extremely bad! This has been going on since late march and I’m sick of it. Iv used act and it doesn’t really do anything and i use sensitive toothpaste every day. I’m not sure what else to do. Can i get some ideas?

Something wrong with my teeth?

I have something wrong with one of my teeth. I have a small gap in my enamel at the top of one of my upper back teeth, At first I thought it was just the receding gumline, but after poking at it with my tongue for a while its become sensitive to touch and brushing. It is not brown (as far as I can tell),so I’m not sure if its a cavity. and exposed nerve tissue, or root rot. Does anyone have any idea what this may be? And if there’s anything I can do? I can currently brushing with sensodine pronamel and chewing trident gum.

How much pain does a tooth implant cause?

I’m getting a tooth implant soon, I have to have a screw put into my gums and i’m worried about how much pain it will cause.

People have said it’s a "quick procedure" (35 minutes) but even when I had a full Novocaine block for my last cavity it still hurt.

I am bleaching my teeth with the stuff you get from the dentist, it takes only ten days to do and it turns your teeth really white. Well anyways the bleach is hurting one of my molars. I don’t think I have a cavity but it feels like someone is taking a needle and poking at a nerve. Is that normal?

?
I have to get 10cavities, 5extractions, root canal correction and a 1 tooth implant. If this is not done then I will probably have a heart attack from gum disease within my lifetime.
I have to get 10cavities removed, 5extractions (1 tooth is almost lost due to an untreated cavity.. If the tooth is not extracted than I will develope gum disease.), root canal correction and a tooth implant.
I do not want to die at the age of 69 because I did not get the dental work done…

Tooth pain associated with growing wisdom teeth?

I went to the dentist recently for some INTENSE tooth pain i randomly felt. My dentist did X-rays and showed no cavity in the area where i had pain. My second molars are growing in but i wanted to know if this pain could even be a sign of my wisdom teeth growing as well.

I’m around the age that some people begin to get their wisdom teeth extracted but when i asked my dentist, he said i didn’t need to worry about it and didn’t offer any sort of X-ray to check. Any suggestions?

I am 22 yrs. old and have never had a cavity. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 2 yrs after my child was born because it seemed like I never had the time. I just went last month and they said I barely had any tartar on my teeth and no tooth decay. Sometimes I fall asleep and don’t brush my teeth (happens rarely) and drink sugar soda (which I know is horrible on your teeth). I barely floss and use mouth wash as much as possible. My teeth are almost white, not perfect. Just curious!

I have had pain in several teeth in my mouth that no one could give me a straight answer on. The last dentist I went to found a deep cavity in one of my teeth (I have no idea why the other two dentists I went to didn’t see this, because you can clearly see it on my tooth)

My wisdom teeth are causing me a great deal of pain on one side of my mouth. I have already spoken to a dentist, but I need a referral first. I have the exam/referral scheduled for Tuesday, and then who knows how long til they are actually pulled. One of them has a cavity because it was covered by gum for so long and I couldn’t get to the tooth to brush it. The other one on that side is coming in and is causing pain. Orajel only dulls the pain for maybe 10 minutes and 2 tablets of extra strength Tylenol only helps for about an hour. What can I do? It keeps me up at night. I finally get to sleep, but when my 10 month old wakes up, after he is taken care of, it takes me a long time to get back to sleep again because of the pain. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Ok this is my deal my upper molars were pulled when I was younger and now the wisdom teeth have come into the spot the molars were. Both wisdom teeth are now cracked and broken and hurt badly. On top of that I have a huge cavity in another tooth and basically the pain can shoot all over the top of my mouth. Once one area stops the next will pick up. I have no dental insurance and desperately need this taken care of as I cant stand the pain this is causing anymore… Please Help!!!

Like if you have a cavity in one tooth and don’t get it fixed, can the decay spread to other teeth?

Tooth pain after wisdom teeth removal?

I had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago, and I am still having pain in the tooth that was next to the horizontally impacted one. It really hurts when I chew and also when I just leave it alone. I don’t think I have a cavity. Is this normal? What can I do to relieve the pain? I just spent a lot of money on the wisdom teeth surgery, and I don’t have insurance, so I really can’t go back to the dentist. Will the pain go away after a while?

SENSITIVE TEETH!!!!!!?

ok i have 3 sensitive teeth and their all on the left side of my mouth 2 on top one on bottom. i cant even drink water! thts how much it kills! i already have fillings on those teeth so i dont think its a cavity…but im not sure im 13 thanks :)

Can a cavity in a molar cause pain to other teeth?

I am aware of a cavity in my very back molar. I recently have had pain in most of my teeth on the same side of my mouth. I can’t pinpoint the pain, it hurts all over. It comes and goes.

I have toothache in my bottom left molar, 3 in front of the wisdom tooth but when I look at it in a mirror the tooth looks fine. Obviously, I’m not a dentist, so there might still be a cavity, but it looks ok.

Thing is, the tooth behind it has a TINY hole in it, on the top of the tooth in one of the pits – I thought there was something black stuck in it, but after brushing my teeth it was still there, and I got a pin and discovered it’s actually a small hole which is black in colour. I’m assuming this is a cavity in the tooth?

Could the cavity in this tooth be causing the toothache in the tooth in front of it? I also have pain in the molar 3 from the back on the top, could the pains all be linked to a cavity in a tooth that DOESN’T hurt?!!

I know I’m going to have to go to a dentist, but I’m not registered with one, and I need to find one who’ll treat me on the NHS – I can’t afford to go private.

How do you deal with sensitive teeth?

I have had braces for about 4 months and haven’t really had any problems until now. I used to have an eye tooth (not sure of the technical name, sorry.) the was crooked and sort of jutted forward and slightly to to the right in front of my front tooth. Since I’ve had the braces, this has come down and straightened out, but I’ve noticed that the space between these two teeth has become EXTREMELY sensitive to cold and heat over the last week and a half. Any time I drink or eat anything cold or hot, I get this pain that just shoots through my mouth until it decides to calm down.

Does anyone know how to make this stop? From what I can tell, it’s not a cavity, as it hasn’t shown up on my dental x-rays. The entire tooth is sensitive due to shifting, and best I can figure is that the tooth has had a spot exposed that’s not used to being exposed and is very sensitive, but how do I make it stop?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
