Dentist put in 4 resin fillings, 3 are fine, pain went away a few hours later, very minor, but one son of a you know what STILL hurts 5 days later, a constant throbing pain, not excruciating but annoying.

Mostly have pain after I have eaten or when I’m laying down but occasionally some throbbing when doing neither of these things. The gums around my other teeth are swollen too…is this normal? I am on antibiotics for an infection I developed day two after surgery.

i was nummed not put to sleep when they were pulled yesterday am. my face is swollen and everything is sore and i have a headache. doc gave me antibiotic and tylenol3 but i havent been able to sleep @ all due to nausea. dentist told me to call the pharmacy, pharmacist was a jerk and didn’t answer any of my questions just said to take the tylenol3. all i want to do is sleep could i just take a unisom?

She has tried pain killers and Anbesol, but non work, we don’t have the money right now to bring her to the dentist to have it checked out, but we are trying to save quickly. The pain comes off and on does anyone have a temporary solution until we can get to a dentist?

I always hear that tobacco smokers have a greater risk of developing many different dental and mouth problems. I realize that smoking stains the teeth brownish yellow and causes bad breath(besides causing many serious diseases), but how exactly does it lead to tooth problems like causing cavities and gum disease? Please note, I am a non-smoker, but some people in my family smoke. Does the same go for marijuana smokers, or only tobacco smokers?

I’ve had my braces for almost a year now and at the time I got them on, one of my teeth wasn’t down far enough to have a bracket placed on it. Now that tooth is down far enough, and they put the bracket on today. How long should I be in pain/discomfort?

I got all four wisdom teeth removed the other day, I am in a lot of pain and I have been taking 1 hydro every 4 hours as directed, should I maybe take them every 3 or double the dosage to help me? I already have somewhat of a tolerance to them.. I have xanax which I think will help me as well but is it ok to mix the two? I’m talking like only one of each.. what do you think?

I feel like hell. All four wisdom teeth taken out this morning and my mouth is throbbing like a son of a you-know-what.
My mom is only letting me take these pain pills every 3 hours but it doesn’t completely take the pain away.
It even hurts when I swallow, its like every muscle I move in my mouth the holes where my teeth were throb really bad.
How long does this last? Any words of encouragement?

Does eating yogurt before fruit contribute more to tooth decay than eating fruit before yogurt?

I have two teeth coming in on the bottom very back, I don’t know ifit is my wisdom teeth or 12 year old molars. I don’t know how to tell the diff. But they are hurting me very badly and are swollen. I also am wondering what to do for the horrible pain.

I got my wisdom teeth out last wednesday over spring break and the pain was bearable then, but now i’m back in school and it’s really difficult concentrating when my face is throbbing. The pain medication isn’t really working that well. How much longer will it be before it goes away?

i have wisdom teeth pain in my lower jaw. [i had all four teeth removed] he left little triangles open because it allows them to heal better. i have to clean them out with a syringe, and i’ve been taking good care of the incisions, but my lower jaw hurts considerably. this is the last day i’m supposed to be able to get dry socket, but it’s not a sharp pain. it’s dull. could this pain just be from the clots forming?

I already use sensodine toothpaste and avoid really cold or hot foods. What can I do to get rid of the pain I’m having from just breathing air or drinking room temperature water?
I do brush and floss every day.

I just extracted two of my bottom wisdom teeth and i the doctor didn’t give me a prescription for pain relief medicine. Can you guys recommend what i should get?

Okay i need a filling on a cavity on in the crease of my front tooth, but i dont have dental insurance yet, so how long will it take to decay? im hoping slowy so i can get it fixed. is there any way i can slow this process??!? Thanks!

Okay so this past Friday I got separators in on both sides of my first molars, top and bottom, to prep for my braces in 3 weeks and it hurts a decent amount as well as having pressure from them creating space all the time. I have this toothbrush that they gave me to use and so far it helps relieve the pressure and pain whenever I brush over them with it, so is it okay? If not, is there something I can do or use to help relieve the pressure and pain?

I am normally good with pain but this is pretty awful. The dentist can’t find anything as its not in an exact tooth. She has given me Corsodyl which after I use hurts SOOOO bad I end up crying. Would you carry on using it if its causing that much pain? It says on the bottle it will sting at first but the pain really is something else.

My teeth are killing me. The pain is unbarable sharp and I dont know why. I don’t have any cavities so thats out of the picture. The pain just comes and goes and when it comes its so painful that I basically scream my head off and it last for like ten minutes. Does anyone know and I dont have dental insurance so please don’t say go see one.

Its been at least a week since ive been using this toothpaste and the pain is going away a little. I want to know when will the pain really go???

If u get a root canal but don’t get the crown put on, will the tooth decay and make your breath stink? And not necessarily just the tooth but the sealant that they use to cover the tooth…

I have had unexplained tingling and pain coming from my gums and or teeth. I flossed and brushed last night and then the pain and tingling started and its driving me nuts. What could be causing this. please help.
