How much does it cost to get a tooth implant?

This is a question for a periodontist-a 58yr old man wid diabetes (in control )and lichen planus(oral and dermal).He gets repeated ulcer like sores in d mouth,he has advanced periodontitis but is under treatment,but can someone help in controlling and relieving the ulcers and sores.Any medication that can provide relief???

I had 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed. This pain just started 2 days ago. It hurts more when I eat something a little harder, im still eating soft foods though.

I had a tooth pulled on the 2nd and everything is fine. And I have a white area that is surronding my tooth extraction site which is normal. I was told that i should not touch this area with my tongue or finger.I was wondering if anyone knew why?

I love fish tacos but they always come with raw cabbage, which gives me really bad breath. What can I do to prevent it?

Yesterday I had a lollypop, one of those sour ones with bubblegum in the middle. Since then, my 2 front teeth are really sensitive and it sucks. I have to go to the dentist in 2 days and I really hate it when she has to work on my mouth. I can tell you that I’m not a frequent teethbrusher, I often forget or I am too lazy, now does this mean she has to work on my teeth or will she just prescribe something?

hi, im going to get my wisdom teeth removed this moring and im really nervous about how painful it will be.

i have to get all four removed none of which are impacted.

the thing is, im scared that i will still be in alot of pain even with the painkillers.

Ok, everyday I rinse with mouth wash (Scope) for 30 seconds and gargle with mouth wash for 30 seconds. I also brush my teeth for 3 minutes in the morning and at night. And still, sometimes I get bad breath. How can I get rid of my bad breath?

I’ve never used any teeth whitening products and I’d like to remove some stains from my teeth. So which one/ones works the best? A d does the white eventually fade back to the same color your tooth was before to where you’d have to whiten them again? If so, how long does the white usually last before it starts to fade?

She said she has less then 50% of the bone that holds them in so I need to have them all pulled and get dentures The total for all the work is ,758.00 !The surgeon alone is ,743.00+ 3.00 to be sedated) and the dentures are ,398.00 She is looking for a cheaper surgeon. I feel so bad. Any1 know anything cheaper?

My cat has really bad breath. I was wondering if anyone has any solutions or ways of cleaning their teeth?

I recently got braces put on about two days ago, and my teeth are incredibly sensitive and in pain. I can’t even bite down on anything, and have only been drinking liquids and avoiding anything I have to chew. Even the slightest touch such as touching the surface, brushing, etc hurts. My gums also look very pale, but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with this. Is this normal? When if ever does the pain go away? Any help would be appreciated!

I’m unhappy with almost every aspect of my body:

My height (5′9.5")
My eyes (Hazel)
Hair (receding)
pale skin that I have to go and risk cancer tanning it
receding gumline
I do like straight teeth tho

How do you come to terms with it?

I’ve considered plastic surgery in the future…but can they completely re-shape my face to look like a male models? And what kind of skin treatment can I get to make my skin look all ONE shade…..and under-eye treatment to get rid of dark circles?
lol no it’s not just gums, I have a pretty good smile since i had braces (perfect teeth) but my gum line is going up

I can’t afford a mouth guard from the dentist. The one I got from the pharmacy falls out on occasion and I wake up from debilitating migraines from grinding my teeth.
If I see the dentist is there anything that can be done for me even tho I absolutly cannot afford a new mouth guard?
Perhaps muscle relaxors?

Hi, i suffer from bad breath, i am not sure if it is connected to a lack of sleep, i barely get any, or quite what. I have found that after eating weetabix, of which i have 6 a day, my breath goes bad and i only shortly after brush my teeth. I use toothpaste and moutwash but It simply won’t go away. Any help would be appreciated and could you anwer whether or not bad breath and being sleep-deprived is linked?

we were given this dog (a daschound) on easter, already grown up. we found out that his trouble with crunchy dog food is that he has some gum disease. i don’t know much about treating this condition in dogs and would like to know if i can brush his teeth with human toothpaste until i can buy some special for him.

I have a great dog but it has horrible bad breath. I’ve tried milk bones, brushing its teeth and other treats that say will clean dogs bad breath. any suggestions?

I have somewhat white teeth but they could be better. I want to know what is the best toothpaste that makes your teeth whiter. What I am using now doesn’t do much for me. It is " Crest Whitening Expressions". I have been using it for months now and nothing has changed. I brush my teeth twice a day and still, nothing.

So what is the best toothpaste for whitening teeth. Also is there anything else I can do to make them whiter. Use mouthwash or what?

I don’t plan on brushing my teeth with straight baking soda since it could be too harsh but just luke warm water and these products. I have receeded gums due to having braces for several years and i brush too high on my gumline so plague gets trapped after brushing and flossing.
