I do not know why is my teeth hurting strangely. Probably I may have some gum disease but the hurt is like sometimes at position X, then at Y, then at Z and then randomly around. Is it sound kind of signal?
ps I hope I don’t have to visit the dentist.
Edit: I am not having a cold and it does not seem that I bleed when I brush my teeth. So, what should I do? Rinse with Listerine, cloves oil and warm salt water to ease the pain first?

I have a 4 month old puggle, and he’s been sick lately. He vomited about 3 times over the past 2 days but he’s better now. However his breath is still very smelly. Anyone have any ideas on how i can get rid of the bad breath?!

My dentist might want to do this for a sensitive tooth I have but he can’t see anything wrong with it. I have a receding gumline–but I have others and they hurt different than this. It’s very sensitive to hot and cold–not sweets– but quickly leaves after. I do grind my teeth–how do they do a nerve test and what does it determine? If I needed a root canal would an x-ray show this? Thx!

My bottom wisdom teeth are coming in and I’m practically in tears from the pain. My dentist appointment isn’t for 3 more days but what can I do until then?
Anything else help besides Tylenol and whiskey shots?
Thanks!!
Thanks everyone. I know they need to come out, hopefully I won’t still be in pain by then! I’m going to try the salt water right now. I’ve used that for sore throats.

Every time I drink/eat either hot or cold foods a tooth on the left upper side of my mouth HURTS! I’ve tried several products for sensitve teeth to no avail. I have to get everything just the perfect temp of high lukewarm. If it’s sensitive teeth is there something more strong than Sensydene toothpaste? That stuff works very little on me! If it is an exposed root how is that handled without pulling the tooth?

When I wake up in the morning, I always seem to have a really bad taste in my mouth. I think it’s because I sleep with my mouth open. How can I force my mouth to stay closed? or How can I stop the bad taste/breath?
I brush my teeth morning and night. I floss at night. I’ve tried listerine and it seems to help alittle but not enough.

My wisdom teeth are causing me a great deal of pain on one side of my mouth. I have already spoken to a dentist, but I need a referral first. I have the exam/referral scheduled for Tuesday, and then who knows how long til they are actually pulled. One of them has a cavity because it was covered by gum for so long and I couldn’t get to the tooth to brush it. The other one on that side is coming in and is causing pain. Orajel only dulls the pain for maybe 10 minutes and 2 tablets of extra strength Tylenol only helps for about an hour. What can I do? It keeps me up at night. I finally get to sleep, but when my 10 month old wakes up, after he is taken care of, it takes me a long time to get back to sleep again because of the pain. PLEASE HELP!!!!

So my gums are bleeding, and my older sister insist that I use some kind of "Corsodyl mouthwash". Where can I purchase these at? If you can provide me links for it, I’d be really grateful.

I have tried the Crest Whitestrips (Premium, I believe), and they worked great as far as whitening goes. I now would like to try something different, mainly because the strips would slip off my teeth very easily and left white stains on my gums. Also, they left my gums very sensitive, and every time I would brush my teeth, my gums would bleed! If there are any whitening strips on the market that whiten fast but do not leave my gums in pain, please let me know.

I have a 5 months old Miniature rat terrier and I THINK that she has ear mites. There are black grain like thingys in her ear that resemble coffee grain. She also has extremely bad breath that she can’t seem to get rid of.
Is there a chance that stubborn ear mites could cause stubborn bad breath?

Ive had unhealthy teeth my whole life, and I have some tooth decay in a few of my bottom teeth, I know that there’s no way to actually get the enamel back, but what would be the best products to use? Ive been using the crest enamel shield and mouthwash, but is there something better that I can use? And how long should it take before I see a change? Also, Is it possible to brush your teeth too much?

I had 3 teeth pulled on Friday. This is day 3 and im sore! I have not had to take the Lortab Elixir since the pain is not that strong. Ibuprofen has helped control that but eating is such a pain. Opening my jaw for food or talking is very uncomfortable. Im freaking myself out about it, but im sure its normal. I guess I just need some reassuarnce. I have one more day at home before I have to go back to work so Im really hoping that im better by then.

I used to use a medium toothbrush, but my dentist has urged me to use a soft toothbrush since she claims my medium toothbrush is causing my gums to recede. I have significant gum recession around several teeth. Will using a soft toothbrush help reverse this process? Do soft toothbrushes brush as well as medium or firm brushes? I’m 30 and my teeth are otherwise okay. Thanks.

I’m guessing the foods that are most responsible for bad breath are meats, dairy products, and processed foods. What CAN a person eat besides fruits & veggies all the time if they want to keep their breath fresh?
